Suncups - Dusy Basin

Sunset over the last remaining snow in Dusy Basin, Kings Canyon National Park. Suncups form during the melting away of snow, creating honeycomb like shapes across the surface of the snow. These suncups represent the last of the remaining winter snow, backlit by a dramatic sunset out to the west.
