Mount Dana - Yosemite National Park

Looking south from near the summit of Mammoth Peak, located on the border of the Inyo National Forest and Yosemite National Park, the dramatic difference between the east and west faces of Mount Dana are plainly evident. While the west face of Mount Dana is a popular and relatively easy climbing route in the summer, in the winter and spring the east face of Mount Dana holds some very challenging and popular ski descent routes.
