Sunset - Russian Ridge

Sunset over the Santa Cruz Mountains, view from Russian Ridge Open Space Preserve, California. The weather had created a cold winter haze over the mountains, which as the sun set cast shadows from the treeline. Rarely had I ever seen the sunset cast shadows so strong than on the evening I took this photo.
