Rose Lake - John Muir Wilderness

Rose Lake, John Muir Wilderness. Given the remote location of this lake - over ten miles of hiking from the nearest trailhead - you can't get here without getting you're feet a little dirty. As I reached the lake at mid-morning, similar to Orchid Lake which I had left a few hours earlier, a perfect reflection greeted me. A nice location to have a snack, I laid down and relaxed along the grassy shores to enjoy the view.
