Flowers along Lost Canyon Creek, Sequoia National Park. Lost Canyon is a beautiful hike as it gently climbs up through forest and meadows to reach Columbine Lake. This stretch alongside the trail had several wildflowers which attracted dozens of these butterflies, and was the setting for a long snack break. The contrast in scenery between the lush Lost Canyon itself and Columbine Lake above was striking.
