Afterglow - Sequoia National Park

The Kaweah Peaks - already a bright red in nature - glow mysteriously in the post-sunset alpenglow, Big Five Lakes, Sequoia National Park. Not an easy location to reach, I put my body through quite a bit of abuse before reaching these lakes. Quite often backpacking equates to windy conditions, and for just a fleeting moment the wind died down enough for a reflection to manifest itself, before being obliterated a moment later.
